Our Value Propositions

Compliance

MRSAuditQ utilizes the OIG RAT-STATS to automatically generate a random chart selection for audit, which is required for audit compliance. Organizations are required by the OIG to self-audit and achieve a 95% compliance score. MRSAuditQ’s scoring approach is customizable, allowing each chart element to be weighted individually. MRSAuditQ validates each reviewed code entered by the auditor against the date of service and corresponding code set to ensure code compliance.

Reports

Real-time scoring, audit trend reports, coder/provider, and executive level reports are provided out-of-the box to clearly show how well the organization as well as individual coders or providers are performing. MRSAuditQ can also provide custom reports and dashboards.

Productivity Improvement

MRSAuditQ provides an average 30% productivity improvement for each audit. The auditing process is streamlined so that both diagnosis and procedure codes can be reviewed with comments quickly and easily. Real-time scoring updates and associated rules per chart provide auditors with clear and consistent feedback to both coders and providers.

Education

MRSAuditQ highlights areas of improvement with each completed audit using customer-defined rules and comments. Coder and provider reports can be shared along with suggestions for educational materials to improve future scores. Executive reports highlight areas of improvement at the organizational level.

Organizational Support

MRSAuditQ widely supports audits by the professional auditor for multiple clients or for self-auditing by a facility and/or physician practice. MRSAuditQ supports all medical record systems utilizing customizable spreadsheet data imports. MRSAuditQ provides audit capability for inpatient as well as outpatient charts types.

Ease of Use

MRSAuditQ allows the creation of audits using several criteria to appropriately narrow chart selection. The criteria include coder selection (all or any set of coders), provider selection (all or any set of providers), registration type (e.g. inpatient, outpatient, etc.), provider type (e.g. facility, practice, etc.), specific diagnosis codes, E/M or other procedure codes, rev codes or MS-DRG values. MRSAuditQ also provides several tools to facilitate the audit process including a code search tool, and E/M Calculator.
